I'm running DPM 2012 and it works great for my SQL boxes and Exchange 2010 DAG. What I seem to be struggling with is getting a good backup of our Sharepoint environment. This is a huge thing and wanted to see if anyone had ideas on how I can streamline or gain performance as I think it might be timing out on the SharePoint recovery points.
Our SharePoint environment conists of Front End and Back End. No biggie, but the back end SQL box is running 53 databases for all our departments and sites and the total size of everything is over a TB of info. I'm sure you're not surprised by the fact that it takes a bit to back this beast up.
So does anyone have ideas on how many I can back up chunks of it at times throughout the day or streamline the process or am I pretty much stuck?
Thanks,
Matt
